Hi Y’all!
It’s been a really, really fast week. The Humans have been so busy, keeping appointments and making telephone calls…catchin’ up for “all the time they lost during the family gatherings”.
Funny how Humans say stuff like that…“makin’ up for lost time”…No matter how I look at it, once a minute has passed you can’t get it back…
Tell me, what am I missin’? Do your humans say crazy stuff like that? Or are mine just plain crazy?
Now, as you can see I did quite a bit of exercising in the open fields this past week.
We were visitin’ friends, so this was private land. My Human just let me wander where I wanted.
It might be because we were visiting or maybe because of National Dog Day, but my Human didn’t hide bumpers, or make me practice recalls…she just let me run and check out all the different scents!
Have a wonderful weekend!

Hi Easy,
Not quite fall yet, but coming fast…nights are now showing temps in the low 50’s Fahrenheit (about 10 C). Yesterday the sun struggled to warm our mountain out of the 60’s F (15-16 C). We finally reached 72 F (22 C).
A few trees have sprouted yellow leaves which disappear, then reappear on the ground. My Human saw a Gum Tree with a branch covered in brilliant red leaves.
Definitely signs of fall. Smells coming to my world soon!

Hi — I just came here from 2 brown dogs — my mum says crazy things all the time — I always attribute it to her being a brit!!!!!
Not sure what part of US you are, but hope that when mum and I finally do our travelling, we will be able to visit you.
Incidentally — temps are all relative to where you are — temps here have been in low 80’s in the early morning when mum takes me out — she complains it is getting chilly!!! BTW we are in Tucson, AZ!!

Hi Y’all!
We’re in the southeastern U.S. high country now. We’ll be back in the low country before it gets too cold.

Humans do say crazy things! But on the other hand, they let you have a free day to just run and sniff! They are a conundrum mostly. 🙂

Taking in a good amount of sniffs makes for a nice mental workout 🙂 Your humans aren’t that much more crazy than us humans…though they really could pick up a thing or two as far as relaxing and enjoying the moment is concerned!

Lucky you! Of course that would be a great field to train in too. 🙂
